For the 50th anniversary of Frank Lloyd Wright's Guggenheim museum in New York we were invited to make an intervention for the rotunda. How to grasp the paradoxical nature of this architectural monument? How to interpret a space so rigid in its organization yet so open in its experience? As a reaction to the extreme spatial experience of the rotunda we decided to make a triptych, reprenting repression, anarchy, and pleasure.
