Metro station Slinge in Rotterdam is the heart of a modernist housing area. Build in the fifties as a modern satellite city of Rotterdam, it has fallen in to decay over the last three decades. Despite immense efforts over the last ten years to resuscitate it, its remains the poorest area of Rotterdam. We analyzed the quality of public space and came to the conclusion that a make-over is needed. Our proposals range in scale from XS to XXL, from new paving to a new overall neighborhood green strategy. Published here.
