A family wants to extend their traditional dutch farmhouse with a gallery for their art collection. They wish to connect their house to the old stables on the estate. We designed an extension with a folding roof that subtly connects the two buidlings without pulling the emphasis away from the traditional architecture. The structure is light and delicate, spacious and open, yet provides an intimate sphere for family life to take place.
